Sinopsis:
Asustado y desorientado, Ben despierta de un coma para descubrir que se ha visto envuelto en un grave accidente de tráfico. Cuando se entera de que su esposa Elisa murió en dicho accidente, todo su mundo parece morir con ella. A su vez, esos mismos días una famosa estrella del pop es asesinada. Fuera del hospital, Ben intenta empezar una nueva vida, trasladándose a otra casa y empezando las visitas con el Dr. Manor, un psiquiatra que ya lo atendió de niño. Mientras tanto, la joven y guapa nueva vecina de Ben, Charlotte, le tiende una mano amistosa. Una tarde, ella le invita a una sesión de espiritismo con una prestigiosa médium, Petra. La vida de Ben está a punto de dar un giro siniestro cuando, como salido de la nada, el Inspector Jackson aparece en su apartamento para interrogarle sobre el reciente asesinato de la famosa diva del pop.
