Sinopsis:
Parecia otra leyenda urbana mas: una cinta de video llena de imagenes de pesadilla y sin ningun sentido, a la que seguia una llamada de telefono que predecia la muerte a quien habia visto la cinta exactamente siete dias despues. Ni uno mas ni uno menos.
La reportera Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) se siente muy esceptica ante el asunto hasta que descubre que cuatro adolescentes han conocido una muerte misteriosa justo una semana despues de visionar la dichosa cinta.
Asustada y con una curiosidad profesional, Rachel sigue la pista de la cinta... y la contempla. Ahora debe pedir ayuda a su amigo Noah (Martin Henderson) si quiere salvar su vida y la de su hijo (David Dorfman). S??lo tienen siete d??as para desentra??ar el misterio de la increible cinta.

La Señal, o The Ring, es probablemente la mejor película de terro que se halla rodado nunca. Sin usar casquería, ni sonidos o imágenes efectistas, the ring, mantiene en todo momento al espectador sobre el filo de una cuchilla, en un estado de infinita tensión.
La interpretación de Naomi Watts es simplemente insuperable, en un film que además, es un remake, terriblemente mejorado de una película japonesa del mismo nombre.
