Sinopsis:
Una modelo de pasarela y su chofer son secuestrados y recluidos en una pequeña habitación por un asesino en serie. Dicho asesino es un loco metódico que aterroriza a sus víctimas.

Comentarios:
Captivity es una película bastante mala y aburrida. Si bien la idea en la que se basa es excelente: tortura, aprovechamiento de la debilidad de la víctima, seducción y muerte; está pésimamente contada, con un ritmo lento lento que aburre a las ovejas.
Se trata de mostrar cómo un par de psicópatas son capaces de doblegar la entereza de los distintos trofeos que van consiguiendo, cinco chicas jóvenes en total son secuestradas, drogadas, torturadas y seducidas hasta ser asesinadas. Jennifer Tree (Elisha Cuthbert) es la sexta, la que consigue escapar y destrozarles "el chiringuito".
Especialmente patética, es la trama paralela de la investigación que la policía lleva a cabo, que dan con el cubil de los "hermanos psicópatas" sin saber cómo ni porqué.
Tan sólo la belleza de Elisha Cuthbert, y los continuos modelitos que es obligada a lucir por el gordo tarado, permiten aguantar las dos primeras partes de metraje.
El último tercio de película se transforma en una sucesión típica de psicópata persiguiendo a guapa protagista quien, como es de esperar, lo mata "a lo bruto" y consigue escaparse.
Por cierto, la peli empieza con un tío que es torturado hasta la muerte, que parece no casar con el resto de la historia (al menos a mi no me pega).
Sólo para acérrimos fans de Elisha Cuthbert.
