Sinopsis:
ATRAPA EL FUEGO/CATCH A FIRE, la nueva película del director Phillip Noyce (El americano impasible, Generación robada) cuenta la conmovedora historia del viaje hacia la libertad de un héroe sudafricano. Este thriller político transcurre a principios de los ochenta, una época dura y turbulenta en la historia de Sudáfrica.Derek Luke encarna a Patrick Chamusso, un héroe de carne y hueso de la historia reciente del país. Patrick ama tiernamente a su esposa Precious (Bonnie Henna) y a sus dos hijas pequeñas. Trabaja de encargado en la refinería Secunda, símbolo de la autosuficiencia de Sudáfrica en una época en la que el resto del mundo se alzaba contra el opresivo sistema del apartheid. En su tiempo libre, Patrick entrena a un equipo de fútbol juvenil. Tiene cuidado de no cruzar la línea impuesta a los negros por el apartheid, es totalmente apolítico.Tim Robbins, premiado por la Academia, es Nic Vos, un coronel del Departamento de Seguridad.
